We are celebrating 14 years in a row that Caribbean Fun Day has been the most popular day excursion to Isla Mujeres! We will help you experience the natural beauty of the island with friendly service, private and safe facilities, and modern pleasure boats.

As the name says, you will have a fun day from the moment you arrive at our check-in terminal at Playa Tortugas where we will greet you with sweet rolls and coffee. Once aboard, you will be welcomed by the happy tropical rhythms of the Caribbean as we get ready to set sail on a 45 minute voyage to the island.

When we arrive at our private beach club, you can choose from a number of local tours with different schedules allowing you to make the most of your time.

Your visit includes use of our colorful hammocks, comfortable beach lounge chairs, lockers, showers and rustic palapas (beach huts) to cool off in the shade while you relax and enjoy hot dogs and sip refreshing drinks from our famous open bar. For the sport minded, our host will organize basketball, volleyball, and mini soccer matches. Feel free to slip into the beautiful Caribbean Sea on your own or take the plunge from our unique water slide.

The buffet lunch opens at 11:30 am and remains open for 3 hours where you will have a salad bar and different dressings, five main dishes (chicken, fish, beef and pork), two different pastas and a couple of side dishes plus tasty desserts, our famous open bar and great coffee.

The following included activities are available throughout the day from our private beach club:

Snorkel Tour

We have different tours for the advanced and the beginners that include a 30 minutes lesson and practice times. We will take one of our small boats out to sea, stopping at a coral reef where we will spend an hour appreciating the beauty of the reef and a whole range of tropical fish. Snorkel equipment is available for free rental from our hospitality desk.

Bicycle Tour

For those who love the freedom and exercise of biking, this may be your favorite activity. Our guides will escort the group to the southern tip of the island where you will take in breathtaking views from the El Garrafon National Park Lighthouse and the Mayan Observatory.

Kayak Tour

Enjoy this trip that while rowing will allow you to explore the Western coast of Isla Mujeres. All of our guests will be provided with a life jacket and with all the necessary safety equipment to fully enjoy this activity.

For resting and relaxing

For those people whose only desire is to rest and relax, we include hammocks, comfortable palapas (rustic palm tree huts), beach lounge chairs, cards and dominoes.

Sports

For the more active guests we will organize different activities such as aquatic or beach volleyball, soccer, basketball and badminton. Also they’ll be able to feel the adrenaline at our water slide, a unique feature in Isla Mujeres.

Kid’s Club

We have qualified personnel so that our guests can carry out any activity knowing that their children are being watched and taken care of in a safe and fun environment. We have crayons, watercolors, blocks, fishing game, water slide, inflatable mini boats, sand box and an area with swings.  Ages:  From 4 to 9 years old

Special Beach Activity

Daily our hosts will organize a different activity, where, depending on the day, our guests will be able to learn how to dance Salsa or perhaps how to prepare a delicious “ceviche;”

Lunch will be served at our beach club. Then we will visit downtown Isla Mujeres on a guided “shopping tour.” Then set sail back to Cancun, arriving at 5:30 pm back at Playa Tortugas.
